Leighton Linslade Street Pastors Launch took place at Trinity Methodist Church, North Street, Leighton
Buzzard on Friday 14th May.

Eustace Constance, one of the first Street Pastors, spoke of his passion for this rapidly expanding
National project.

Street Pastors, run by Ascension Trust, is a proactive scheme where the Church becomes a visible part
of the community, stepping in and listening, caring, supporting and helping people, especially young
people.

They aim to have teams of four Street Pastors on the streets of Leighton Buzzard & Linslade between
10pm and 4am on Friday and possibly Saturday nights commencing 1st October.


Street Pastors is working with the support of both the Police and the Town and District Councils to make
a positive difference on the streets of Leighton Buzzard and Linslade.
